Sullamussalam Science College has recently established the Research Consultancy and Extension Cell (RCEC) to promote and enhance academic research on campus. Governed by the regulations of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the RCEC is composed of a coordinator and eight members. The RCEC is committed to fostering a culture of research and innovation among students, research scholars, and faculty members.

The cell encourages academic research and innovation across the campus and supports the academic excellence of the campus community. It offers Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) for faculty members, workshops for research scholars and faculty, consultation and publication assistance services for students, scholars, and faculty, and research awareness campaigns to promote a research-oriented culture. The RCEC aims to be a cornerstone of academic growth and research excellence, supporting the college's mission to nurture a thriving academic environment.
