The Department of Journalism at at Sullamussalam Science College organized a one-day Design Workshop for final-year BA Communication and Media & History students on 26th July 2024. The workshop, led by Mr. Riyas Aboobacker, Head of the Department, introduced participants to the fundamentals of design and provided hands-on experience in creating digital content.

The session covered essential topics such as Basics of Design, Typography, and Colour Psychology, highlighting their role in effective communication. Students also participated in an interactive hands-on session using Canva, a popular graphic design tool. A total of 36 final-year students attended the workshop, which focused on bridging theoretical concepts with practical applications.
