The Department of Journalism organized a national seminar on the topic “Changing India, Changing Mediascape” as part of the Sullamussalam International Conference of Science, Arts, and Commerce (SICSAC) 2024 on February 14, 2024.

The event featured an insightful keynote address by Nishad Rawther, Associate Coordinating Editor of MediaOne TV, who highlighted the challenges and opportunities faced by the media industry in the context of India's rapid socio-political changes. His address sparked thought-provoking discussions on media ethics, digital transformation, and the role of journalism in shaping public opinion. The event brought together scholars, students, and media professionals to discuss the evolving landscape of Indian media.
