• Attended a RUSA sponsored Eight Day Faculty Development Programme on “Four Year Undergraduate Programme Curriculum and OBE “organised by the IQAC, Farook College (Autonomous), from March 2 to 9 2024 in online mode.

• Attended the Seven Days Faculty Development Programme on "Reconstructing Research in Media and Communication: Post-Covid Scenario” organised by Amity Academic Staff College & Amity School of Communication from 22th to 28th March, 2021 at Amity University, Uttar Pradesh Noida.

• Attened a one week FDP on ‘User Friendly Tools for Online Teaching and Assessment’ jointly organized by the Department of Computer Science and IQAC, Prajyoti Niketan College, Pudukkad, from 10th July 2020 to 16th July 2020.

• Attended a 10 day International Workshop on AI for Academics: 75 Essential Tools conducted from 26 September - 09 October 2023 by Lore & Ed Research Associates.

• Attended a three day National level Online FDP on “The ABC of Accreditations (NAAC)” organised by the Association of Muslim Professional in collaboration with Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur, during September 28 to 30, 2023.

• Attended as a special invitee in the Workshop conducted in connection with the implementation of FYUGP 2024 by the Board of Studies in Journalism UG, from December 4 to 8, 2024, at NMSM Government College, Kalpetta.

• Attended a UGC approved One Day Webinar on “Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) Curriculum Frame Work” conducted by the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), University of Calicut on 13.11.2023 in online platform. 

• Attended the NAAC Sponsored Two-Day National Conference on Quality Higher Education in the Era of Open Online Education, organized by IQAC, Sullamussalam Science College on 6th and 7th December 2016.

• Attended the International Colloquium on Creative Teaching & Learning organized by the Department of English, Sullamussalam Science College and Kerala State Higher Education Council, during December 12 - 14, 2017. 

• Handled a session in the Orientation Workshop for newly started B. Voc programmes at Carmel College on 27th Septemer 2018.

• Lead an orientation session for B.Voc students and staff at Sullamussalam Arabic College, Areekode on 12th November 2018.

Papers Presented 

• Presented a paper tiled “Impact of Digital Surveillance on Freedom of Expression and Self-Censorship” in the National Conference on “Journalistic and Creative Freedom: Prospects and Challenges” organised by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tamil Nadu.

• Co-presented a paper titled ‘Content Development and Management for Visual Media – Experiences of the Project on Mobilizing Mass Media support for sharing Agro Information’ at the 8th GCRA International Conference on “Innovative Digital Applications for Sustainable Development” held at University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru from 5-7 January 2016.
   

Membership in Academic / Administrative Bodies 

• Special invitee in the syllabus revision committee of UG Board of Journalism for FYUGP 2024. 

• Question Paper Setter for an Autonomous College under University of Calicut

• Drafted the syllabus for B.Voc Broadcast Journalism, for the Board of Studies in Journalism (UG).

• Member, B.Voc Steering Committee, University of Calicut.

Extension activities 

• Co-ordinated the student exchange programme ‘Sullamussalam - Manthan Integrated Learning Exchange Programme’ (SMILE) between Sullamussalam Science College and Manthan Sikshak Santhan in Kishangarh, Rajasthan.

• Directed a documentary titled "The Agent of Change” , which has been selected for the final round of ‘Think Clean Short Film Contest’ organized by Doordarshan and Suchitwa Mission.

• Directed a short film titled, ‘Disabled’ was selected as one among the 27 films shortlisted from total 225 entries in the Ability Fest 2015, an international short film fest on disability organized by Ability Foundation, Chennai.
