ASAP

ASAP or Additional Skills Acquisition Programme is a joint initiative of the Department of Higher Education and General Education aimed at tackling the issue of growing unemployment in the State. Our college has spearheaded programmes to equip selected students with skills in Communication, IT and Fashion Designing. As envisioned by the government at Level 1, ASAP imparts 300 hours of skill training to selected first year students. Of this, 180 hours are a foundation module comprising Communication Skills and IT skills and the remaining 120 hours are modules related to the skill sector chosen by the student. ASAP trainees were given a mandatory soft skill training programme of 180 hours.
