The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer Team Members visited Sullamussalam Science College, Areekode, on 19th and 20th November for the third cycle of Assessment. The team, headed by Prof. Sachidananda Mohanty, Former Vice Chancellor, Central University of Orissa, was in the campus for two days assessing various quality initiatives and teaching and learning practices in the college. The team also had seperate interactions with the Principal, Management Committee Members, IQAC Coordinator, heads of departments, students, alumni members and parents.
The NAAC's assessment and accreditation is based on seven eligibility criteria such as Curricular Aspects; Teaching, Learning and Evaluation; Research, Innovations and Extension; Infrastructure and Learning Resources; Student Support and Progression; Governance, Leadership and Management; Institutional Values and Best Practices.
