Bridge Course

The department of English has conducted a three days Bridge course for the new comers
in BA English for providing them an ambience to adapt with the new environment of
Sullamuslamiya college. The course was divided into 10 sessions under the control of Mr. Jouhar
K, HOD English, and proceeded by faculty from English and other departments. It was begun at
9.30 AM in 9 th July and ended at 4.00 PM in 11 th July.

"ART WITH CHALK" - Intra collegiate competition

Department of English organized an intra-collegiate competition Art with Chalk to promote the development of the divergent thinking and creative potential of students. A topic was given and students were asked to represent the concept visually on the blackboards in their respective classrooms. 17 classes took part in the event, and the Department of Economics won the first prize.
